Josi Marie was born in the small Central African country of Rwanda on November 23rd, 1989.  Moving from one country to another became the norm early in her life during the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.  After living in numerous countries and experiencing the good and the bad of Central and Eastern Africa, her family moved to the USA in September of 1999.  Dayton, Ohio was Josi Marie’s new home for the time being, until after her high school graduation. 

Josi had big dreams and goals, and decided New York City was her future.  With her love for adventure, a challenge, and equipped with an ambitious spirit, she moved to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 18 with only $28 to her name, very little support, and with no family or friends in the Big Apple. 

Learning and growing from each challenge she faced, including homelessness, Josi Marie remained true and tenacious to her decision to experiencing life in New York City and following her dreams.  Her naturally bubbly and welcoming personality and her pure hunger for more in life than mediocrity convinced her that she was meant for more.  She wanted to make a difference and live with purpose.

Her interests include topics pertaining to business, personal development, lifestyle, public speaking, and attaining success. Josi Marie plans to entwine all these elements into her being, learning the most she can, and sharing them with the world using her broadcasting skills.  She is passionate about giving back to charity and plans to engage in more charity events as time passes.  A book is in her near future as well.

Josi Marie is determined to be successful, wants to help others be successful, and plans to use all of her talents to leave this world a better place.  She remains an entrepreneur and is currently a business developer with business partners throughout the USA and St. Lucia. She is passionate about building an empire of entrepreneurs who also seek financial freedom and the lifestyles they desire!

 

Josi Marie & Entertainment

The world of entertainment became a part of Josi Marie at the young age of six.  While living in Kenya, she was one of the lead dancers in a professional Rwandese dance ballet called HOZA.  Tough, extreme rehearsals and touring to different cities to perform became the norm for her, exposing her to a new luxurious way of life, different from the cities of poverty she lived in!  While in Ohio, she pursued Hip Hop Dance and performed in many showcases, including shows hosted by the mayor along with her dance crew.

At the age of 16, Josi Marie was exposed to the broadcasting world by a local media group called Urban Streets TV.  Her passion for broadcasting was born! At the age of 20, Josi Marie went on to create and produce her radio show in Brooklyn, NY on DTFRadio.com, “The Josi Marie Show”, along with other industry related work including interning with rapper Jim Jones, and Vanessa and Angela Simmons’ brand, Pastry.

She was featured in music videos, an MTV commercial, and was even casted on The Trya Banks show twice. Josi Marie also created a movement, “Ball With Vixens”, where she gathered models she’d kown from the urban modeling industry. Together, they planned events to raise money awareness for charity causes.

 Business was all around Josi Marie since she was young.  In Rwanda before the genocide, her father was a wealthy international business man.  His hard working and “go-getter” spirit rubbed off on Josi Marie, she believes. 

Josi Marie helped her father run his trucking company in Ohio, until she moved to New York City.  Her natural leadership and people skills always led her to think ahead on projects, and her creativity sparked ideas, where she always thought about work and earning from leadershiop and ownership perspective.

In late 2010, Josi Marie was introduced to the concept of Network Marketing by successful individuals in the industry.  This ignited Josi Marie’s love for multi-level-marketing, business ownership, residual income, and assisting others to attain success in an untraditional way. 

To this day, Josi Marie indulges in the Network Marketing industry as a business woman who is willing and ready to share her message of financial freedom with all who are ready to receive it!
